[It's a normal night in Caritas. People are badly slaughtering well known classics, while other people drunkly listen to them, somehow thinking they're the best singers who ever lived. Same old show as usual. Lorne winces as someone hits a particularly bad high note]

Oh honey, I think the blackbird is singing in the dead of night for a reason.

[ oh my goodness, sounds like this should be utterly illegal! the princess, who is working today, is trying her hardest not to wince at the current song being belted out! but she eventually turns to Lorne, tugs on his sleeve and when he's down to her level? ]

Oh, Lorne, this is dreadful! Is this truly music?

I know, honey, as for the music part? It's kinda debatable. We just need to smile and hope they get so drunk they forget they're in a karaoke bar before they pick a new song.

Admittedly, I have never tried to sing before! Certainly not in the presence of so many strangers..
