[With the weather finally improving, Kaylee’s gone out to the stables to work on her Mule. Except, after Valentine’s and Slenderman and how crazy things got, she’s finding that it’s hard to concentrate.
The journal, having flipped open on its own, picks up the sound of metal and mechanics for just a few minutes before she sighs and takes a break]
[there’s a pause… and then an aggravated noise as she notices the book] Aiya. Shoulda known you’d find your way open.
[her voice becomes clearer as she picks it up] Guess I ain’t really talked to many folks since….well, since everything, it feels like. There ain’t no one hurt or nothin’ after this last mess, right?
[There’s another pause as she tries to think of something to add, but she can’t really say things are shiny. Or that she’s not worried about them spinning out of control again. So she sticks to something safe. From her perch on the Mule, she’ll look out the open stable door and onto the castle grounds]….it ain’t too bad out here, no more. Not since the snow melted. Still, it’d be nice if spring would come proper-like. I wouldn’t mind seein’ flowers growin’ again.
[open over the journal or in the stables.]
