She's got her journal open on her lap, but it's a while before she writes anything.]This place is called "Paradisa," which sounds a lot like Paradise. Does anyone actually find it so idyllic here to deserve such a title? It's hardly a beautiful utopia here. ( Read more... )

Lots of places can be called a paradise, it just depends on the kind of paradise your trying to define.

Well, there is all the other parts I mentioned. The death and losses and inability to leave.

I know of a place that's called a paradise. A lot of the people there don't have a means to leave, and it can get pretty violent.

If one thought enough, they could consider it their own special Hell or Underworld, just with enough conveniences and company to keep one from going completely insane.

Honestly, that may be worse than snapping. For some, at least.

Man, amen to the palm trees and bikinis.

Not that it would fix anything, but, you know. For those of us who know how to appreciate the little things, it would definitely be an improvement.

It would fix some things. But yes. We'd still be trapped, have things that are lost, and numerous dangers.

But we'd have bikinis. So the future would look a little brighter.

I don't suppose the castle has a suggestion box.

I look very nice in a bikini. Men stare at my breasts more than usual.

No. You could wish for a bikini, I suppose.

Well it did use to always be spring-like here.

That still doesn't sound like a tropical paradise.

Well, no one said this was a tropical paradise. Besides, it's not a paradise at all, looks aside.

Though if you want the tropical effect, there is a beach...

It doesn't look like a paradise either. That was my point.

Oh, there is? Where?
