[Barbara stealthily leaves a simple box with a folded note, both marked with the Oracle mask
the note reads:
I almost didn't give you this. Your behaviour can be appalling. I expect better from Robin.
You have, however, been through a lot lately, and borne it admirably. I know what it's like to lose your parents and face impossible odds alone.
Don't open it in public.
- O
inside the box are several perfectly crafted batarangs, measured to fit his grip; on one side is carved the Robin symbol, and on the other is a stylised T]
[after careful consultation with the Doctor, a large box is left on the table. Inside is a puzzle cube about a foot in diameter, perfect for storing random secrets.
Of course, with the doctor it's never as simple as interlocking blocks. There are wire elements in there as well, with the circuits needing to be just so, and a print-sensitive lock on the last step.
There's always the possibility that he'll solve it in minutes or else chuck it across the room in frustration, but once he programs that print, he should be the only one able to get inside]

[ Boys like this kind of thing, right? A quick perusal of what an eleven-year-old might want at their party had revealed this awesome game- much like laser tag, except with hand-to-hand and melee (nerf, you violent-minded person) weapons as well, and expanding right up the ceiling in a couple of hastily-constructed stories to make for extra strategy.
The ULTIMATE LASER BATTLE ARENA takes up a good quarter of the room, everything inside utterly blacked out and full of obstacles. The perfect place for a friendly merciless beating competition! ]
[omigod this is... so cool... after a couple seconds spent staring in absolute awe, Carrie found a multi-round nerf gun, an excellent perch, and is currently playing the sniping game. DARE YOU WALK UNDER HER?]
[Oh, oh Tim. She wishes it wasn't you, but... no, just kidding, she's totally going to enjoy this. Serves him right for not keeping watch in all directions. Leaning in, taking aim, and opening fire for the back of his head!]

[ The other thing Yukiko knows boys like? Splattery videogames, and lots of them! The opposite quarter of the dining hall is taken up with several long couches all half-circled around the biggest of big-screens, with a stack of the best multiplayer stuff that the current gen can offer.
Man, this 'violence and competition' thing seems to be a running theme for Damian. ]

[ Too cool to hang at a kid's party (but not cool enough to leave)? Good thing there's a balcony out back. Go be a moody loner, you...you moody loner. ]

This is also for generally hanging out, eating, drinking, and having sneaky makeouts in the bathrooms. (Stephanie.) The usual! ]
