[He's so proud of you, Uncle Rory. Dictated over the journal, though, because the boy is lazy]

That wasn't so hard was it?

[Oh yay, someone to talk to on the computer. Not answering that question though, dum de dum]

The world is full of shades of grey. I imagine the shades of grey are what keeps the human race from doing themselves all in with cool-aid. If it was a world with only black and white, they couldn't reason with themselves they were still essentially good people even if they did something bad.

People don't ultimately judge themselves, much as they wish they could. Judgment always comes from without - never within.

No choice in the matter, either, really. Society tends toward it without much encouragement. Even here.

Society rules an awful lot. Propaganda is a very powerful tool, the way a person is displayed in the media will heavily influence how society acts towards them.

It doesn't give much leeway for inner judgement.

[Kind of... a soft chuckle, more like a faint sniff then anything else. Keepin' his attention on dis sandwich for the moment]

I might try it sometime... [Bitty shrug] But I've been in a PB&J kind of mood since I woke up, so maybe not today...

[Glances over at him, sucking a bit of jelly off the end of his thumb and... y'know, this look here? You probably haven't seen this look very often before. There's a decidedly... tricky glint in his eyes, downright mischievous if you really want to put a name to it...]
