[she isn't used to facing this kind of anger head-on, especially when she has the option of running. Before, it had been over the journal, or trapped in her hospital bed. Here, the automatic instinct to turn and run is nearly overpowering.
She manages to keep herself in one spot, however. Running would be stupid. And, beyond that ...it's just Jilly.]
