[after the clinic, being holed up in her room for just about a week is all she can take. Finally feeling like she can walk around without falling apart-- physically or otherwise --she wastes no time in setting out.

Stepping back, her mouth opened to apologize for the close call... before snapping shut again, mouth making a thin line as recognition dawns]

...and then she has a small heart attack when she recognizes who it is, as dark images set in Caritas suddenly flash in front of her mind's eye]

But, try as she might, that anger wasn't going anywhere.
Jaw set, she'll glance over the scantily clad girl before carefully settling on meeting her eyes] You're awake.
[stating the obvious was safe. It kept the other things she wanted to say from spilling out]

[she isn't used to facing this kind of anger head-on, especially when she has the option of running. Before, it had been over the journal, or trapped in her hospital bed. Here, the automatic instinct to turn and run is nearly overpowering.
She manages to keep herself in one spot, however. Running would be stupid. And, beyond that ...it's just Jilly.]

[there's several seconds of silence as Jilly tries to sort through the various things she wants to say. When she finally speaks, it's in that carefully controlled tone, weighing each of her words]

[there's a long pause before the fist at her side slowly unclenches....]

Arms crossing around her middle, like she's not quite sure what to do with them now, her lips press together before speaking calmly]
...I won't tell anyone I saw you.

Well... maybe one more thing] You should tell him. He deserves to know.
[and then she's moving on, passing up Faye, with one last side-long look. Part of her nagged that she should offer more. She'd been in her shoes enough to know when someone needed a hand up.
But right now she wasn't feeling like that good of a person]
