[there's a voice, mature and confident.]

This is Princess Azula speaking.

I've read your book for long enough to figure out how it works, but I'm finding it makes for particularly boring reading. I would like this place explained, clearly and concisely, and without all the unnecessary drivel.

Go.

Princess Azula, but yes, that's what I said. Pay attention.

Wow, it's been...months!

[happy to hear you're the same, girl]

What do you mean, "it's been months?"

It's a magic castle. That, perhaps, is the most precise explanation you will find.

It's only concise if it's a lot of information in few words. Elaborate.

There's not much else to really say. Magic castle, you are stuck here till it sends you back to where you came from, make yourself at home.

And the least you could do is say 'please'. It's usually the best way to get the information you want.

I know my manners perfectly fine, but in my world, we don't afford potential captors "pleases" and "thank yous." Not until we have complete answers.

But really? This book is quite thick. I'd think you'd know more about the castle than THAT.

It's a magical castle that kidnaps people from multiple dimensions and makes crazy things happen to them. What else is there to say? It's not scientifically sound at all.

I don't know a great deal about science, thus the application of its principles is useless to me.

What would you consider "crazy things?"

weeabot July 1 2010, 01:53:42 UTC
Well, if I've read and seen right people have been turned into animals or made to act or look like other people they know, amongst other things. The castle takes something precious from you when you arrive, too. Also, don't expect most people to treat you like a princess. No one cares much about royalty when we're all from different places.

If we're all from "different places," I hardly expect them to recognize me, but I do expect a degree of respect, and my title. It's only polite.

Explain what a dimension is, and more about the castle "taking" something.

[ since no one's explaining akjfhsefj ]

Um... A princess?! You're in another universe called Paradisa. It-- It probably sounds really crazy but you're in a magical castle right now. You can't go back home until the castle sends you.

Ah... but you get free food and everything while you're here? All you have to do is wish for it!

I do have a palace in my homeland, complete with all the food I want. This seems incredibly unnecessary.

I know it's confusing and hard to believe. A lot of us don't know why we're here. But you don't have to worry about home... because whatever time period you're from, you go return to if you go back home. Most of time, I think.

[ a pause, wondering what else to say to her ]

I don't mind answering any questions you have. There's a lot about Paradisa most people don't learn about right away.

I see you have the same charming way with people.

Did you really expect any different, Uncle?

pai_sho_master July 1 2010, 02:25:46 UTC
No. But I will always hope.

You might find people more cooperative if you were a little less brash, you know. I would think you would appreciate efficiency, if nothing else.

Brash? I hardly think being assertive is brash. Let me guess: you woke up in a strange place and began making tea.
