THE RUINS

Jan 09, 2010 21:00

[The rain's clearing up, leaving it just cold and wet and slushy around the ruins of the castle. The residents have destroyed their housing to save their friends, families and comrades, and even if they don't have a castle to stay in (for now), at least they have their minds and their memories ( Read more... )

[there's a slight problem guys, about a fifth of the town suddenly bursts into flame. Quick, what do you do!?]

[[OOC: Sorry about the extra trouble, but this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Be careful if you want to approach Zelman himself, he's pretty murderous right now. D: ALSO, MOD-APPROVED.]]

[Yuan staaaares at the complete ruins of the castle for a long moment.]

[And starts laughing. Quietly, at first, but with increasing intensity and more than a bit of desperation.]

[Crowley's trying his best to hide his confusion]

...Being homeless in the freezing rain and snow is stupid. Yes. Yes I would have to agree. That doesn't explain why you're giggling like you've gone off your nut.

[With a subtle movement of shadow, Evangeline is floating over the ruins of the castle, looking subtly ticked. The advantage of centuries of experience, a majority of it dealing with magic, is that the surprise was very short-lived. However, it just meant she was quicker to realize what had happened and quicker to get horrendously pissed off about it.]

And it figures... by the time I get here, you're already a smoking crater. Destroying rubble isn't nearly as satisfying.

[He's back now - he couldn't do anything, really, regarding the destruction, but he did want to go back and make sure it was gone. He looks up, sees his vampire friend, and waves.]

Hi, Evangeline.

Well, look what we have here.

[Eva just kind of floats on over]

You don't look surprised by all of this.

[Takes a step back so she can land on un-rubbly ground :>]

I'll have to admit that it was sort of a spur of the moment development... but looking back, it was a long time in coming. [a pleasant smile!] I'm just glad that thing is gone.

[This is a cry of such pure and fiery rage that it should not be possible, and a rather large townhouse crumbles to the ground as a Devil Triggered Vergil slams Beowulf into it, haymaker style.

Okay, less crumbles, and more outright explodes.

And he does this to another building.

And another building.

And another.

And on this one, after destroying it, he just starts punching at the rubble again and again, creating a bigger and bigger crater, even as DT wears off.]

Is that really the most productive use of your time?

[Slam, grabbing a chunk, and throwing it in the general direction of said voice.]

Is this really the way you wish to die?

[Dodges!] I've had worse. All things considered, though, I'd rather not.
