THE RUINS
[The rain's clearing up, leaving it just cold and wet and slushy around the ruins of the castle. The residents have destroyed their housing to save their friends, families and comrades, and even if they don't have a castle to stay in (for now), at least they have their minds and their memories.
The castle seems to have backed off, or given up, or something. Who can ever be sure?
