I've always come back in exactly two weeks. And I've never been killed by the castle itself, only by people acting under its influence. [the writing pauses for a moment] I suppose that means yes.

There has been at least one resident killed directly by the actions of the castle. The Weighted Companion Cube is simply an inanimate object without its memories; when the residents' memories were taken from them recently, it was unable to communicate for two weeks. It died.

Affirmative. It returned to consciousness on the day the majority of the castle was influenced to behave as pirates.
