I had an absolutely awesome time in Las Vegas this weekend. I slept a grand total of about 7 hours all weekend, all of which was during the day and not at all consecutive.

It rained today, for the first time since I got here. It lasted about 15 minutes, and didn't do anything aside from make the dirt path I take as a shortcut into a mud path. I realized, when I walked outside to leave at the end of the day, that I really miss the smell of rain. I definitely think I would miss weather if I lived here all the time ( Read more... )

I have a talent. That is, I have a talent for attracting THE weirdest technological problems. For example, the most recent one: Rubix decided, as he does routinely, to crash (probably because I am a horrible computer slave driver who makes him play music and connect to the internet at the same time). I really have meant to update my livejournal. Pretty frequently, actually. Trouble is, the internet is broken. Or maybe it's just laughing at me. So, here's my problem: from my apartment, I can access about 3/4 of the internet perfectly normally. ...being where I spent today. It was a bit of a long bike ride (and uphill; it was very painful), but it was a gorgeous beach (pictures to come when I have my camera cord).
