Hannah Upp, incredible humanitarian and graduate of Bryn Mawr College and of South High (where I teach and where she participated in plays and in our music and IB programs) is now a Spanish teacher at a middle school in Harlem. Show opens next week. Crazy busy days at work 7 am - 8 pm. Haha, some days, that's how it goes. The kids are great, the techs are working hard and doing supah well. So the owners of mama cat called this evening. They'd been in Mexico on a trip, with gramma looking after pets. Cat and kittens got out, wandered across the street to our house. Haha! Across the street ( Read more... ) -

Kittah update
We have a likely adopter for the 2 kittens. She lost her longtime cat last week, and was thinking about adopting a brother and sister pair of kittens. How fortuitous! If we are lucky, they go home with their new mom tomorrow. Huzzah! We might have a home for the two kittens. Mama still needs a place but if we can't find one I guess maybe she can stay with us. We'll keep looking though. She's a doll and is very affectionate but is homely as all get out.
