i have never taken speed or coke, but i relate to the other two. while the specificity of the lsd one is obviously different to my own experiences, the sense of urgency, and the way that old memories get pulled up anachronously, and such images as the sky being broken into pieces or shards, are certainly accurate for me. also the sense of time slowed down in the marijuana poem, and of the beauty of this syrupy slowness and ordinariness, describe the way i often feel after smoking, and sometimes just in the lazy summer when i'm totally sober.
yeah, to be honest, i've only done coke a few times and never really done speed but i've done things that are kinda speedy...the poem itself doesn't need much experience to rely on, though.
i like the mood/senses you've read into the two other pieces; it was what i was i trying for. i was hoping to maybe get other people to write their own little poems on their experiences, so if you are inspired, go for it.
