A poster falls down
fingers are snapped
there is laughter in which the mouth remains open
I'm here nearby
but far enough away
to realize myself

 I screamed:

None of this matters!

into the hallways of my house

one time wasn't enough
by the third,
I was laughing before I even finished

I lay on the floor and smile
thinking about cliffs

I cannot wait to hear the echo

 it is always better when you don't write it down

I  have a sore throat.

I look around
I've mustered up nothing.

 Yesterday was my parent's anniversary, 
my mother bought my father a shirt
a bride and groom cutting a cake 
and under it were the letters
"BIG MISTAKE!"

My father didn't get her anything in return.

atleast they have a sense of humor, I guess.
