I did it! I did it! I did it!!

I performed at a rather packed-out open mic. The performances went on until a quarter after 1 in the morning. And I didn't choke, forget lyrics, or screw up a single guitar chord. Hurrah!

Sorry, no money/sleep from wedding weekend, and it's workout night, so I missed it. Hope it rocked like crazy. Do you want to come out for game night tonight?

The weekend sounded like a doozy for you!
I've got scads of errands I have to get done this evening and not enough sleep on which to accomplish them, so I think I'm going to sit out tonight. Are you having game night next week?

I can't believe I was so silly last night. I knew that I had screwed up as soon as I took the exit for 50E in MD! I am still kicking myself for this. ^^X

Glad that you survived your first open mic night well. Maybe one of these days I will get brave enough to learn myself. =P

I forgot that the 50 that you pass every day and the 50 that I pass every day are on opposite sides of the beltway. D'oh!
My college roommate and I always used to go 3/4 of the way around the beltway to get from College Park to Tysons Corner because she was convinced that it was faster, so these are definitely not uncommon mistakes...
Stupid round roads.

It's okay. It is my fault because I had a map in front of me, but wasn't paying attention. Plus, I should know quite well that 50 becomes New York Ave through DC since I pass it on the way to work on 295.

Well, here's to next time and me actually making it. Are you doing karaoke at the Galaxy Hut this Thursday? I should be able to make that.
