Canada - Texas transAmerica oil pipeline and why C-SPAN is awesome.
Washing dishes last night, I turn on CSPAN, as I often do. Dove right into the Congressional hearing on the newly proposed Canada-Texas heavy oil sand pipeline. Reminds me I already saw a CSPAN town hall meeting on the same pipeline a month ago. Now it starts to make sense.

Happy Birthday to Misha Estrin
I haven't had such a wonderful dinner in a long time.
I love my wife and kids always. At the same time I can't deny that
having some free time sometimes isn't good for the soul.

Amazing healer session
I went to an actual energy healer today. Natasha was referred to my by my coworker Jenya.
Normally a guy wouldn't go for this touchy-feely stuff, but I am different and I did.
Our first meeting last week was just a conversation. The first time we met for 2.5 hours and she did real biological field work on me, as she calls it.

Something cool happened yesterday and today. Going to local govt meetings is fun. They keep on asking me to run for the different boards.
A young enthusiastic (perhaps ... naive) guy who'll hopefully stomp the neighborhood to ... do what?
