I always think of this when one of my LJ friends suddenly drops off the radar - I feel a bit panicked that if something happened, I'd never know.

I also worry a bit when real life friends suddenly are out of touch for long periods.

That is so true. Lodi has all my passwords, but... no one knows how to get a hold of HER. Good idea.

Actually I have been thinking about this more and more recently. I wonder how anyone would know if I was gone? Would anyone be able to tell my friends? It scares me to think that some of my good friends here on LJ and in other places might disappear and I'd never know or vice versa.

I've been thinking about who I would entrust the information to.

Thanks! We're pretty much handling it amongst ourselves at the moment, but anywhere that can give us a bit more guarantee could be good.
