I agree, I think in the show Eric was book!Eric for season one, and then they deviated a little, but it's okay because it works. This is one of the few book-to-screen things that I don't mind them not following exactly, because I got bored in season 1 when it was almost word for word. That's why I love Jessica so much, because I don't know what's going to happen to her. Plus, she is just gorgeous. Like, it's surreal how beautiful that girl is. *__
