Just watch this, and then try to tell me that these two boys aren't having sex every chance they get. GO AHEAD AND TRY. Ahem.

:DDD I love all the subtle slashy scenes in this video, because it proves to me that I'm not the only one who sees it. Yes, my slash goggles are a permanent fixture. XDD I need season 2 sooo badddd. Who do I have to ( Read more... )

YAY ANOTHER BOOK FAN. It's so hard to find fellow readers of the Sookie books for some reason! They are like popcorn, I just devour them. :DD SIDE NOTE, my professor KNOWS HER. ASJHKASHKAHS SO AWESOME.

I agree, I think in the show Eric was book!Eric for season one, and then they deviated a little, but it's okay because it works. This is one of the few book-to-screen things that I don't mind them not following exactly, because I got bored in season 1 when it was almost word for word. That's why I love Jessica so much, because I don't know what's going to happen to her. Plus, she is just gorgeous. Like, it's surreal how beautiful that girl is. *__*

Show!Pam is my FAVORITE. I'm also a big fan of Alcide, who is quite like book!Alcide (season 3 had me in conniptions because that book was my favorite for a while, until book 7, which I hope they speed up the plot on the show so we get to see that!). But I really really prefer book!Sam to show!Sam.

Oh god, I shipped Eric/Godric so hard. Godric's death scene DESTROYED me. :(( I am such a slasher, I can't help myself when you give me a maker/"child" relationship like that. The same basic reason why I love Richard/Jacob. :P

But I like the Eric/Sookie romance too. Anyone is better than Bill. XDDD

I just about DIED when he told me that! I fangirled on him and asked for DETAILS and her email address but he said he only knows her through a friend and hasn't talked to her in a while. :((((((

Oh Jessica. I found her midly irritating at first, but she livening things up. Then she really came into her own, and I agree that watching her grow as a character is really a highlight of the show. And I like Bill best when he's mentoring her. And, god, I could watch just a show about her. I have such a crush on that girl. <333

PAM. She kills me with the snark. I'm kind of missing the Sookie and Pam friendship that the books have, but there's still time for that. She won me over with "...these were my favorite pumps." XDDD And any time she threatens someone (that scene with Lafayette?) HOT DAMN. And yeah, I loved her oral sex scene, it was so surprising. Thank god for HBO. XD

SPEAKING OF, you are correct on the Bill/Sam-ness, on all fronts. MORE PLZ. XDD I watch the show with a bunch of girl-friends (one of whom has read my slash fanfic) and when that scene happened someone burst out with "what is going ON??" to which I replied "I have no idea but I am loving it." :DDD Hnnng.

Eric/Godric were beautiful. 'Nuff said. :D

Well I liked Bill for a while, but the reveal that he was working for the queen the whole time was just so unforgivable to me. I just love how Eric tricked Sookie into vamp-marrying him. XDD Oh that guy, I love him. Do you like Eric more than Quinn, for shipping purposes? I'm interested in how they portray him on the show.

THAT MONOLOGUE. Was exactly what I was talking about. HBIC if I ever saw one. :DDD

I forget a lot about the books too, because it's been a while since I've read the older ones. But yeah, I agree with you that it's obvious which writer ships what, lol. I always find that obvious and funny, like how the HP movie writers obviously ship Harry/Hermione, and like...just, no. XDD

But anyway, not that I think about it, Bill was more forgiveable in the books than on the show. In the books it's still a betrayal, but I think his reasons were different and he was just doing his job. Which was different in the books, he was pretty much a paper pusher I think? I know it was a lame job, not a "procurer" like on the show. And on the show they had him go and fuck Lorena (WITH HER HEAD ON BACKWARDS OMG, STILL NOT RECOVERED FROM WITNESSING THAT) while he was still "with" Sookie. That's a worse betrayal than anything he did in the books, to me.

Yeah, I miss book!Sophie. I LOVE the book when she hires Sookie to go the the vampire summit, I think that's my favorite. Kind of related, I can't wait for the show to introduce Amelia! I love that girl!

Oh, Russel. He surprises me on the show too, because he's so different from the book, where he's really a more bit part (I think?). But yeah, he was perfectly cast, and creepy and awesome and psycho. Best villain yet on this show.

I hear ya on book!Eric, but I feel like he really softened over time? Or at least he has in relation to Sookie. I liked him better after the losing-his-memory thing. I just think they're kind of cute together in the books. :) I think they established him as that asshole in seasons 1 and 2 (when he tricked Sookie into sucking the bullets out of his chest so she would drink his blood? Badass), but then they introduced Godric and it allllll changed. ;)

Quinn was cool, and I liked his arc a lot. I thought Sookie was a little hard on him! I just find his niche in the shapeshifter world so interesting, and he has such a tragic backstory.

I can see what you mean about shipping Sookie. Sometimes I feel like she needs to take a break from men and just be single for a while. :P

Anyway, I'd love to stay and chat all night hun, but I have to get to bed. Work in the morning, ughhh. Talk to you later! <3
