hee! I have a Miles/Richard smutbunny (similar to the plotbunny, but with more sex and less sense) on the back-burner for after I finish an AU sequel to an AU fic I wrote this summer. I feel so accomplished after writing my HoHoHo, because longer fics can be really hard for me.

I really struggle with the "explaining a bunch of crap" part of longer fics. One thing I try to do, which works sometimes, is ground the exposition in moments of "real time" i.e. for every two or three background points I take a moment to zoom in on one character's reaction or a specific interaction between two of them. It doesn't always work for me, but if you're interested it's something I'd recommend trying.

I wanted to do HoHoHo, but I was busy with school at the time and decided not to. :(( I haven't written longer fics in a while either, and this is part 2 of one that I already posted so I just want to get it written already. :P

Ooh yeah, that's a good point. I feel like Miles is good for reactions, his voice is easy for me. I think I have somewhat of a plan for it now...I'm trying not to skip ahead and write the end (I write out of order sometimes). :P

Ugh, I know! I like more the explaining stuff, but I can't find the proper way to transcribe what my mind pictures in English. If I could do it, 'Falling Down, Breaking Down' would be longer (perhaps 700-800 words) :(

I think I am just rusty. :\ I have the whole thing planned out in my head, I just need to get down. Sometimes short and sweet is better (and harder!) but this fic in particular is a long one (and the second part of a 2-part series so I'm just anxious to post it already).

Noooo MiB! :((( I can never kill spiders, they scare meeeeeee! I would throw a shoe at it, but then I'd break the lamp! I called my boyfriend to make him come over and kill it but he just told me to be tough. XD

LOL, yeah I'm crazy. They are my favorite ever, but it's so hard for me to write fic for them that doesn't end in sex. XD *points to icon* It practically happened in the show, I mean it was so obvious. :P

I KNOW SERIOUSLIES. Especially when the overall fic isn't rated NC17 and is a gen fic that just happens to feature a pairing (my current problem is that I simply cannot write this pairing without them sexing each other at some point, lol). I may need to write an extended sex scene, and add it as a bonus feature, lol. XDDD
