Sigh. It's come to the point in this fic where I've been staring at it for three bloody weeks now and I'm still getting positively nowhere. The smut is coming out forced, which is not something I've ever had a problem with before. But you may not have gone wrong.
I'm finding the sex in fic less and less important in comparison to the emotional structure.
I'm working on one where the two parties are not even in contact with each other. Because they haven't earned it yet.
I think S3 has pushed each character so far away that I'm not sure how they organically find their way back to each other.

Thank you! I'll send it over. I was hoping to rope you into a full beta after it was done, but if you're willing to glance through it now, that would be grand :)

I don't know why this particular story is giving me such trouble, but I've been at it for nearly three months and I've been stuck in the same spot for over three weeks, man. It's frustrating to say the least.

ALRIGHT! I have sent it again! Let me know if you don't get it this time. Sorry it took so long-- I worked from 7-5 today and totally went to bed before I got your message last night. I hope I didn't turn you off of reading it with all the ridiculous delay :(
