Pandora Hearts Fanbook?
WHAT THE HELL LJ CHANGED THEIR POISTINGG STUFF AGAIAN SWJKWEBWQ DSJEW WHGY LJ WHYYYY /ahem
Anyway . . . uh. So I was struck with an idea. To do a fandom-wide book. Cause for serious guys. It's no secret we're all so stupidly and ridiculously talented it shouldn't be legal and that's REALLY AWESOME. So I think it would be cool if we stuck all our talent in a book? XD
I was thinking the book could have art and fanfiction mostly, and maybe some doujin if you guys are that dedicated. ""XD I'm a graphic design major so I'm pretty sure I'm qualified to put together the entire book and come up with a design and blah blah blah.
Any of the types of work listed above would be appropriate, and new work wouldn't necessarily have to be produced for the book unless you want to, so if you don't have time to create anything new you could still submit! And suggestions of other media I haven't thought of or mentioned that we could include would be lovely too.
I'm also playing around with the idea of getting the book printed for reals, cause that sounds cool (but every idea sounds cool when you first get it haha). I could totally go set up a Kickstarter page RIGHT NOW for all of us to have a pot to throw our money into oh-so-responsibly to make printing happen. The only thing is printing would create all sorts of other issues, such as are we gonna sell the book, how many copies can we print, blah blah blah. Just food for thought.
I think we should have a digital FREE copy of the book available for everyone for sure.
If this idea launches, I wouldn't have time to do much else besides accept submissions until after the holidays, but I figure we would need a fairly sizable submission period anyway, as I'd like to include as many people as possible. So I could set up some submission guidelines and a form, along with where to submit to if people are interested.
I'd really hope if we did this book, it would build a sense of community and bring everyone closer, not to mention all of us would be excited at the same time (as we're wont to do) and it's always fun when we're all like that. ^^
But yes, this is still just an idea, and those were the things stirring around in my head related to it. So, would people be willing to get on board with this?
