Oh how I missed this shit. Making fun of Ryan, wondering what the judges are smoking, knowing that the contestants have a little time to GROW damnit. That's what I hated about last season's format.

Your favourites are my favourites too, haha. I like Katie, but she needs find her style and pick songs that demonstrate that. Idol is much more than just being a great singer now. Katelyn was really good last night, but I still don't like her for some reason...

For me, (for you, for me) Katie is just ~there right now. She has a nice voice, but besides her annoying family I barely remember her. And, this is going to be the one time I probably say this, that's when being 16/17 MATTERS. She was so doormat material up there that I was unimpressed.

And thanks to the last two seasons of Idol, you really have to be distinctive to get far. The girls I liked from last night felt like they had that ~flair you need now to get anywhere in the show.
