Oh how I missed this shit. Making fun of Ryan, wondering what the judges are smoking, knowing that the contestants have a little time to GROW damnit. That's what I hated about last season's format.

Paige: Fake bitch, not Cook. But really? Something she's doing is just not translating. I think cause it's she's a belter, and belters always seem to sound like shit in the beginning. OMG scary eyes. And the pee comment maybe made me like her a little bit
Ashley: LOL, she looks like Jordin a little bit... but see she's a better belter than Paige I think, she just needs some confidence.
Janell: Oh gods, honey don't do that song. *emulates icon* but that was a bad song to sing. She knew who she was in Hollywood... she needs to stick with that. Heart is SO karaoke, no matter what you do. The only way you can stand out is your voice itself.. and she doesn't have that distinctive a voice for THAT song.
Lily: Knows who she is as an artist, and that's refreshing as fuck. And her quirky is ALOT more refreshing/wonderful than Megan's was from last year. She started rough, but by doing an "obscure" Beetles song she's standing out right now. If she stays doing what she's doing, I can easily see her going to Top 12, maybe even crack the Top 10 for tour.

Katelyn: I... like this? She's my favorite right now of those you'd call "belters", cause she didn't try to go over the top with her belty notes. But that outfit is a NO, whorehouse red lipstick and foofy hair, when you see what she looks like in that package? NO honey
Haeley: Holy crap. The only thing I liked about that song was the end. And not cause she did the Beetles. you can cover the Beetles well. She didn't. What Haeley needs to go back to that country thing, cause THAT was distinctive, and she sounded GOOD doing that. Not that hot mess. (OMG Ellen is really going to be the only thing that saves this season, I can already tell.)
Lacey: OMG CAN THEY RETIRE THE FOOTAGE OF HER AND MEGAN PLEASE?? >.< But on the singing front... a big ol' MEH. I think she'll be okay, cause right now I've heard two girls that are worse than her, and we're not done yet, but she needs to step it up.
Michelle: OH CRAP NOOOO don't do Fallin'.... but hey, not so bad. Okay, she's now maybe my favorite belter, but I don't like belters so *shrugs* And the judges were right (Well except for Kara, but that's a given at this point), she's GOOD... but not that good
Didi: Okay, she definitely had the smoothest voice. OMG SIMON SHUT UP. And wow, at this point I'm wondering if he's regretting saying it's a girl's year. With the praise they gave Paige's shit performance, yet they don't like Didi? ... judge pimping ALREADY?? Grrrrr.
Siobhan: LOL to not knowing what a dark horse, oh bb. And... I don't know what to do with her choosing 'Wicked Game'. It was distinctive? But weird? And worked? And Simon's "You are a funny little thing, aren't you?" made me laugh. And glass blowing girl! Us glass blowers need to unite :D Granted I only did it for a semester, but that shit is TOUGH yo.
And Simon found Paula's happy pills on set, I swear to @God. He's acting weiiiird tonight.
Crystal: Yeah, she's good. And after hearing Beyonce murder Alanis at the Grammys, I was apprehensive. But that was alot more refreshing than I thought it would be. Simon really does like her cause that was concrit advice.
Katie: I HATE HATE HATE how this show pimps 16/17 year olds. It DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER if they're 16/17 and can sing, get over it show. Saying that, she's gonna stick around for a while cause that was really good. NOTHING like Adam pwning that song last year tho.
So who's out? Hmmmm, in a fair world, a choice between Haeley, Ashley and Paige. Based on judges comments? Everyone but Paige for some INCOMPREHENSIBLE REASON seemed like fair game.
My favs: Didi, Lily, and Crystal. Katie has a good sounding voice, but she makes me want to kill small animals with her personality for some reason. And Siobhan really is the dark horse cause I don't know what to do with her right now.
