This story has been bubbling in my head for... well, since before graduation.
I finally got around to understanding how to begin it.
It may or may not be a bit confusing right now, but it will hopefully sort itself out. :) 
& just... before you start asking why the hell I named her "Grane", I named her after my favorite pair of jeans. The brand, at

Wow, Sonya, I really, really like this. Grane seems... Distant.
Sad in an indifferent kind of way. World-weary or something.
And I really like her characterization.
She's just so... To the point. Blunt. And I like her already.
(Lol, Grane jeans are comfy, aren't they? XD)
My favorite sentence was the last one, the one about how she doesn't have any faith left in her to believe in anything. That's how I feel a lot of the time, actually. ^ ^"
But really, I'm interested in seeing more of Grane and more about her life and her thoughts. She's an interesting character all right. C:

Grane... is slightly depressed. More like shocked, actually. The days leading up to this weren't that great for her. They were actually really bad & she hasn't quite come to terms with them.
So yes, she is very distant. Not indifferent so much as feeling like the world is still as silly as it was before.
Like she's alone.
& it's partly because she's pushing people away.
(THEY ARE. I got a pair & now I want ANOTHER ONE. They are AMAZING.)
We talked about religion & why people partake in it the day before I wrote that, so I was SUPER INSPIRED.

I need to get writing more!
But I do have college & manymanymany classes, so we'll see how it all works out. :P
& my roommate & I are getting along better now that classes have started & we don't have to spend... HOURS with each other, with all this silence. & I come on really cheerful & bouncy & I just drive people crazy.
I do like my classes though. They keep me busy & I'm understanding more things. :)

This is so much deeper than RushandSimone. I DO have an EXTREME soft spot for those two... but Grane seems like a much more complex character.

This is so good. I'm really curious about her and what her story is so, feel free to post whenever the inspiration strikes because I am READY FOR IT YO!!

It's a different kind of deep, I think.
RushSimone is more... well, they're the type who you want to always work out, but the truth of the matter is that they don't really have the best of luck. :P
That being said, now that I'm rewriting RushSimone, I hope that my writing has improved since then.

I need to write out the next part about Grane as well. The next scene is one that I've been thinking about constantly lately. It involves her mother &- well, I hope to get that (& the re-worked-out meeting between Rush&Simone)out between keeping ahead of all of my classes. :P
