My life has had its ups and downs. Currently in downtime, trying to crawl back up. Celebrated my birthday yesterday in a restaurant, and went to watch a movie today to remember what it's like to laugh at funny scenes

Ahhh no not you too. :c Thankfully I've been getting a liiiittle better just these last couple of weeks or so, but still. I think it is probably the overload, and the brain being unable to keep up. Either way, I hope you recover from it soon.

Hmm. I've never heard of them, but maybe I should check these books out. They do sound right up my alley, from what you say. Do you read the A Song of Ice and Fire books [the ones that inspired HBO's Game of Thrones series], by chance? I think you would probably enjoy them, given the themes you're describing.
