WASD or keys in the same formation should be used for foreward, backward and strafing movements, in conjunction with the mouse for turning. This has been the proven optimum way to move in a 3D game since Doom.
Hmm, I'm sorry about your Bartender problem! I use BT and I've had no problem with the bar switches. You may want to uninstall it / take out the WTF and cache files for it, and reinstall a new version.
I always DPS on dragon phase and one thing that has helped me is to count Mississippi's. 1-Mississippi 1-Mississippi 2-Mississippi, etc. :P It helps pace yourself so you don't run out of energy and your stacks don't fall off.
I also use my keyboard arrows and I don't have a problem running around, so it's definitely doable that way. We all just stack on top of each other, then one person calls out "move right" when the static comes. Everyone them moves to the right and clumps back up together again, etc. You can also keep using your abilities as you move so that your stacks don't fall off. :)
Depends which strat you use, the most common strat for phase three is to have all raid members stacking on each other and when one of those large sparks drops the raid moves all right or all left
