I have some tie dyes "cooking" in the car - using the bright sunshine today and the back window of the station wagon as a solar oven of sorts, to keep the dye warm and moist until it sets thoroughly. It is drifting out of Winter slowly, inexorably, toward Mud Time. Have lost about half the height on the snowbanks due to rain and runoff during the above-freezing temps recently, but there's still plenty of dirty ice all over everywhere.
