I have lots of amsterdam contact info since I'm planning to be there for a couple months.

Its way too easy to accidentally dial someone too, which I wish one could turn off, especially for apps. the more i travel, the more treacherous this is going to get.

I have an auto-lock on my phone so that it locks the keypad if it idles for 30 seconds. Not perfect, but helps a lot.

Hey, if they had to show up looking for potential dead people, at least it was after we got the house tidied.

Oooo, the four elements!
It's so strange to my American self that police can come into a house and look around without a warrant. I think things would be safer here if they could, but then again most cops around here are not to be trusted. So, meh...maybe it's for each of our countries' goods to stay the way they are.

Why hello gorgeous person I haven't talked to in, well, way too many years! Why don't we talk any more? This should be fixed.

Our laws aren't that different in this regard.
Police do need a search warrant to enter and look around... UNLESS you voluntarily invite them in, which I did.

There are bad cops everywhere, but this was fairly routine, nothing to worry about.

Plus, while one poked around, the other one was playing with the cat :)

Ah, I see...and if a police officer likes cats, I'd take that as a good sign.
I've been online! Well, sometimes at least...I haven't seen you on in a while though. I have been missing you quite a lot, so next time I see you I will make you talk to me :P

And just what is your preferred method of being talked at?

(One issue, I don't get home until midnight your time most nights)

Oh wow, at least it wasn't long distance! I liked the pictures a lot.

I only have one long distance number in my phone, for sparklemagpie.

I think what caused it is that my phone goes into keyboard lock, and when you press something, it comes up with a menu
Unlock
Cancel
Emergency Call

Probably how it happened. Stupid phone.

That's actually a pretty cool feature. It would be useful for contacting the police while injured. Of course, useful for contacting the police in your pants too I suppose.

There are police in my pants?
Quick, get over here and bring the camera, we'll make a killing in the uniform fetish porn market!

(The police are lucky I was in my pants, I don't normally wear them around the house)
