[NOW THAT IS STRANGE because he definitely remembers asking a certain redhead to train Rin. Hmm. He's not going to bring that up right now, because he's not sure if Rin even knows about Shura yet.

He's a little disappointed to hear that Yukio isn't there too, though. He would have liked to see both of his sons.]

If he's not here, then do you have another teacher?

No... just stuff Yukio sent me during Christmas. I've been studying! And some training notes from Shura... I met her, too.

[Oh. Well that's a relief, then Shura is following his request after all. But it looks like Rin is doing this all on his own, which is actually quite impressive.]

I never expected you to be so studious.

Of course I am! I have to be serious! I mean, it's hard, and I'm still not great at books, but I can't complain anymore! Everything's different now, and I'm a demon, and... you were gone... there's only one path.

If the books are difficult, then perhaps some instruction is in order.

[Then he steps back to go pick up his suitcases.]

But before we can do any lessons, I need to get settled in. I do have some obligations here, so lessons will have to be scheduled around whatever the director wants me to do.
