A moment, and the princess nodded, shifting to allow Ansem to sit beside her. She sighed a little, softly, still not seeing Mao on his way. She took out her journal, wondering if perhaps she ought to contact Mao. Usually, she was so much more patient than this; she didn't know what was troubling her so about the stranger, or the situation.

For the moment, Yorda chose to remain silent, merely looking through the recent entries on the message boards. She'd learned to keep up with them in case something happened while she was wandering, and it gave her something to do while she waited.

For a moment, Ansem was content to remain silent. It was quite clear that conversation wasn't something Yorda wished to engage in just at the moment and instead he settled himself next to her. It was only polite, when she'd moved to make room. There was, however, only so long he was willing to remain silent, and so after a moment he spoken up again.

"My apologies. I ought to have asked if you were waiting for someone already."

Anyone with experience regarding the world and how it worked wouldn't have answered, at least not properly. Unfortunately for Yorda, she still had so very much to learn and so she replied, looking over at the stranger, "I am waiting for Mao." She turned her attention back to the message board, waiting patiently and reading silently.

The initial flare of worry which had shown itself when Ansem had looked at her in such an oddly frightening way was gone now, and the princess relaxed. Surely it had been nothing.

There was another nod at Ansem from that. He would likely need to expect her friend to come looking for her at some point. Oh, he could try drive the two apart, as he'd done with Riku and Sora. But he'd made no promise to do that. He'd only said he would have an interest in the girl. What happened as a result was hardly his problem. It would take more than a mere request for that.

"I presume he's a friend of yours?"

Yorda nodded at the stranger. Despite Mao's stalwart insistence on the fact that he didn't have friends and didn't really need anybody, or care about them, Yorda had quickly learned to see through that. He was kind to her, in his own rough and usually awkward way, and he kept her with him even when he was annoyed. He even seemed to appreciate her cooking, after a fashion (though he repeatedly claimed that it was just because it was convenient).

"He is a good friend. I like him very much," she said at last, a bright smile coming over her face as she thought of Mao.
