Kovu took his time to get to the church, since there wasn't any real reason to be in a hurry. Why would he be, anyway? It was just another floor, and who knew if there was even anything interesting there? It was probably just a bunch of buildings and stuff like the main city anyway. He was also gonna have to tell Priere to do something to mask her scent sometime, if anyone wanted to track her that way it'd be a piece of cake. Then again, all the humans were like that. That "soap" stuff they liked so much made their scents stand out really badly.

"Hey," he said as he finally came to the door of the church, where he saw her waiting. Then he noticed how impatient she looked. "What's the rush?"

"There you are! Come on, let's go already!" Priere said, her usual smile returning to her face, dodging the question. Anyway, it was less about the rush and more about her lack of patience.

Fortunately, this time they could move in between floors easily. No offense to Kovu, but she didn't really feel like wasting time in the Pride Lands or elsewhere.

"Hope you're ready for things to get a bit messy, Kovu." Hey, if it really was the Netherworld, it was pretty much a given.

The paw Kovu had lifted to start going forward was put back down before he moved. "...Messy?" Messy how? He regarded Priere with a raised eyebrow, not sure what to make of the idea of thing "getting a bit messy." He shrugged though and started walking. Not like she was giving him a choice here...

"Well... if it is what I've heard it is, you can expect getting attacked by demons every once in a while," Priere stated, almost with a hint of enthusiasm in her voice that really shouldn't belong. "But we'll be fine, don't worry, it'll be a piece of cake!" Or... maybe not cake for Kovu... lions, probably don't eat cake. Piece of steak?

Well in any case, getting to the actual door was easier then expected. It only took a few minutes before they stood at the newest floor.

"Demons?" Kovu didn't want to inquire further. If he remembered right a bunch of the guys living with Simba were demons...and wasn't that girl Beryl he met when he got here one too?

Before he'd had time to think it all out, they were standing in a dark room, lit by flames up and down the sides.

"...Grim," he commented.
