Character(s): Urd and Timon Content: In despite of an argument between the two over the journals, Timon decides to pay an unusual visit to the goddess. Setting: Urd's House [M6] Time: Evening Warnings: None
It was purely by accident Urd opened the door when she did, having not heard Timon's knock. As the door opened, she nearly stepped on him, stumbling and floating above the ground instead of falling on top of him. "What the...Timon?" Blinking a few times, she lowered herself to get a closer look, quite clearly surprised to see him.
Though the little locked comment he had made to Vyers earlier had hurt her feelings a bit, she'd come to expect that sort of thing from him. Truthfully, she'd often gotten him in more annoying situations that she'd care to remember, but at least one part of her held out hope that he liked her a little.
Realizing she was just staring at the meerkat, she cleared her throat and frowned. "What's going on? Why are you here?"
Equally as surprised that the goddess had opened the door, Timon stumbled back to try and clear a path for her, in the process falling back himself. Sprawled out against the ground, he stared up at Urd in return, eyes wide in shock.
“I, uh…” What had brought him there was something the meerkat had yet to fully decide on. He did not want to be there, so why was he there? He sat up to look at her better, though did not appear any more certain of his words as he continued. “Pumbaa wanted me to… Ah, check on you. Not that you need checking up on.” Timon chuckled nervously at the thought. No, she certainly did not. “No, I - he, just wanted to make sure you, um, ate something. You barely touched your tuber and, well

Her frown slowly faded as she watched him stumble over his words. Arms crossed under her chest, Urd's expression was carefully blank as she listened. When he turned away, she followed his line of sight to the apple and smiled briefly before he could notice.
"Hmm..." she murmured, taking the damaged fruit from him and rubbing it off on her sleeve. Of course, she never needed to eat but trying to explain the reasons why or how wouldn't do any good. And underneath the excuses and casual indifference Timon was desperately trying to put up, she could hear the truth behind them. So she took a hearty bite of the apple as if it were nothing, glancing down at him. "Thank you. Just what I needed."
She righted herself to stand up straight and moved inside, still munching on the apple. "You wanna come in?"
As if he hadn’t been lost enough for words Urd’s bold act then left Timon truly speechless. She had eaten it. She had actually taken a bite and swallowed it. His mouth hung open, waiting for the goddess to take another bite and spit the apple out or make some sort of remark regarding poor taste but it never came. No, of all things, she had thanked him. Urd. Urd, had thanked him. Mouth still hung open in shock, Timon tried to think of something to say in response. Unfortunately, “uhhh…” had been all he could manage to get out, having meant to say ‘you’re welcome’. Maybe Urd would figure it out

"Come on, you came all this way. At least relax for a moment." She turned and sat on the bottom steps leading up to the second floor, watching him in the open door. Still munching idly on the apple, she reclined on the staircase as if it were a plush chaise lounger. "...I'm sorry I hacked into your private comment to Vyers," Urd finally said after a moment, though the words came out grudgingly enough. She pouted at the apple in her hand, avoiding looking his way.
