As much as he hated to admit it, she had a point. He had walked a rather long way. It was nothing he wasn’t already used to, having traveled by foot across the city countless times, but the idea of rest was almost irresistible. It didn’t matter how many times he did it, exercise never had and never would be something he enjoyed. He reluctantly sighed and stepped into the house. “Alright, I guess it wouldn’t hurt.” He sure hoped it didn’t. But as long as he kept from Urd’s bedroom, everything should have been alright. Nothing about the room they were in looked potentially harmful anyway

Finishing off the apple, Urd tossed the core through the open entry way into the kitchen, making the impossible shot into the trash. Resigned to the response she'd gotten for her apology, she placed her chin in her hand and watched him rub his feet with a thoughtful expression

Timon couldn’t see it from where he was seated but he could hear the apple core as it landed in the garbage. His eyes widened, amazed she had managed such a shot so effortlessly. Then again, he probably shouldn’t have been so surprised. ‘Super moves’ he reminded himself as he turned back to look at the goddess. Oddly enough, he found her looking right at him, possibly even through him. She looked so concentrated, deep in thought, it kind of creeped him out. Just what was she thinking about? The meerkat shuddered, and had been just about to tell Urd to ‘knock it off’ when she suddenly stood to her feet. Immediately, Timon did the same.
“The least you could… What?” Had she just offered him a ride back home and apologized to him? “What are you talking about? Why are being so weird?” Did girls always have to be so confusing? “You don’t owe me anything. I was just being… Pumbaa wanted me to…” He gestured to the room, unsure what he wanted to say. “Whatever.” Timon turned away and head for the door. “Its fine, I can walk.” Pausing, he

"Just shut up and spare your feet the pain, okay?" She picked him up without a word and headed out, flying low over the ground and slow, as she promised, though still faster than if he'd walked on his own. "This isn't for the apple, okay? It's for a lot of things." And if she tried to explain, it'd only make him uncomfortable and suspicious. Holding on to him securely, she smiled slightly to herself, tilting to the side to turn down the road. "Did you find anything in the Pride Lands after you took me back to the graveyard?"
He stared at the goddess in astonishment. Had she just told him to shut up? Again, something he should not have been surprised by, he heard it almost daily back at the apartment. Timon puffed out his chest and clenched his fists, about to argue before he found himself in Urd’s arms. “Just- Hey, cut it out! Put me down!” He squirmed in her hold, disapproving of such treatment, but knew once they had gotten outside his protests were useless. She had already made up her mind on this and in the end it really did allow his feet some needed rest. The meerkat sighed as his final protest and folded his arms across his chest. Fine, he’d go with it. But he didn’t have to look happy about it
