There wouldn't be long till there was a knock on Kairi's door. While has wasn't quite as upset as he had been when Kairi first offered the ice cream, his other friends had helped with that, but he still felt like he should take Kairi up on her offer anyway.

Besides he hadn't really hung out with her in ages.

The door opened shortly after his knock, Kairi's face appearing with a cheery smile. "Hey Sora," she said, stepping out of her room and closing the door behind her. "How're you doing?" It was nice for them to hang out like this, just the two of them. She was really looking forward to this.

"I'm fine," Well, finer than he was a half hour ago, at least. But he still wasn't completely fine. Not even Sora could completely pick himself back up after learning that one of his friends was dead, but he knew he shouldn't dwell on it.

"So, where are we going for that ice cream?"

It was obvious that Sora wouldn't be 100% this soon, but she could work with this at least. As long as she could keep him interested in something else, everything would go just fine. "We're going to a place that Namine took me to a little while back. They have sea salt ice cream.... she said it's something you should share it with your friends."

She could find her way back there from here. Reaching out and wrapping her hand around Sora's wrist, she tugged him gently along behind her. "Let's go. It's this way."

"Sea Salt?" Wasn't that Roxas's favorite? Something about it felt... nostalgic, more nostalgic than Sora's memories of the treat were.

But before Sora really had chance a say anything else, he was being dragged along by Kairi. "H-hey, slow down."
