Sora wore his emotions on his sleeve. Even if he said he was fine, it was easy to see that he was hurting from what he had been told about his friend, Tron. While Kairi had never met him, she had heard enough stories from Sora to know how brave and kind he had been. Kairi felt bad... she hated to see Sora upset. So that was why she had suggested ice cream. When she had shared it with Namine, the girl had said it was something you share with friends.
Kairi could think of nothing she'd like more than to share ice cream with Sora. She had told him to let her know when he was ready. So she was sitting in her room and waiting for him to come by. Then she'd drag him off to find the best ice cream they could, and they'd talk.
She just hoped that would be enough to make him feel better.
