"I could show you if you like." Jenny said to the newcomer from behind having heard the comment. In truth, Jenny had only been passing by when she had seen and heard the woman, and wouldn't have been surprised if the newcomer hadn't noticed her until now considering how well Jenny blended into the crowd with her blond hair and blue eyes. The only major thing that made her look different from the rest of the people here was her choice of clothing, and even with that, she still could be hard to spot. But now, there she stood, bright, perky smile on her face, looking like she had enough energy to go for days without sleep...which is exactly how much energy she had. Especially at this time in the morning.

The brunette turned her head -- first studying the girl, then turning towards her to face her fully. "Be my guest," she said, handing the gagdet over without and qualms. The blonde girl certainly seemed non-threatening, didn't she? With a smile like that... Truth be told, for now, Fang did assume she was a native to this place, but didn't draw any attention to the fact.

Hey, for all she knew -- maybe she could pass as someone who belonged here, too. No need to be labeled a threat -- again (of course, unbeknownst to her, randoms were not only common, but welcome).

Maybe it was Fate or maybe it was Destiny. Or maybe it was Chance. Whatever it was, Vanille wasn't far from the Vanaheim Gate when Fang arrived. Once Fang spoke, it wasn't hard for the redhead to find her.

"...Fang? Fang!" she called, ready to fling her arms around the other woman. Only...

There was someone else there. Someone blonde. Who was that?

"Erm..." Vanille tilted her head curiously, "Is everything alright?"

"Vanille!" Talk about being in Lady Luck's favour! Where the redhead hesitated with her embrace, Fang made no such indication, rushing over and pulling her into a hug. "Not sure how we got separated this time, but believe me... I won't let it happen again..." she tighened her grip slightly before finally letting go and taking a step back.

With a slight wave of her arm, she turned again to Jenny, "Just came outta that gate over there," the nodded in the direction of Vanaheim, "And this young lady here was just about to give me a crash course in that device that they handed over. Can't make much sense of it, myself..."

Jenny took the journal when it was handed to her, and was about to start explaining it when she heard the other girl call out, and couldn't help but look up at the two women and watch their exchange. So, the newcomer already had someone here that she knew. Well, that was always good, and helpful. It made showing up here easier, she was sure ( ... )
