Axel was far from being in a good mood. Eever since Roxas had lost his memories, it pretty much put a damper on everything. Not only did he not remember him, but Xion was covering for him too. And since he hadn't met up with him like he said he would... the redhead's spirits seemed to be at an all time low.

He was... off duty, so to speak. Walking through the streets in casual attire, opting for just a simple t-shirt and pants. He weaved through the crowd, his hair an obvious indication that he wasn't a Paixao native, but the lack of his overcoat helped pleading his innocence if anyone tried to finger him as a member of the Organization.

Flicking a toothpick away and onto the street, he noted a strange sound coming from just ahead... and his eyes landed on some very out of place kitchenware.

"Now what do we have here?" he asked himself, reaching down to pick the teapot up.

It seemed everyone was in some sort of strange mood. However, the teapot couldn't say she was particularly fond of being picked up by random people. She would normally have faded into her unmoving "natural" look, but the man had already seen her moving, so it was no use to pretend otherwise. She merely wiggled a little bit in his arms and tried to get a good look at whoever had a hold of her.

"Ah, pardon me, sir," she began. "I was heading for one of the shops. Do you think you give me a hand? It's hard walking there alone these days."

"WHAT THE -- " the words coming from the teapot's mouth were more than enough to startle him. So much so that he lost his grip on it, watched it fly upwards, took a quick step forward to catch it again, juggled it between two hands... and finally settled in with it gripped against his chest.

Slowly, he extended his arms outwards. "Uh... Sorry about that. You kinda caught me off guard..." Because, y'know, not every day you see a talking beverage maker.

Oh dear. Maybe she should have let him get used to her weight before she started speaking. The trip through the air wasn't quite what she'd planned, and she managed a quick hopeful prayer that she wouldn't land on the ground - who knew what would happen if she broke - before he man had caught her again.

"Forgive me, sir," she apologized. "I didn't mean to startle you. Are you all right?"

Because his safety and comfort is definitely more important than her own at this point.

"I'm uh... I'm just peachy," he spoke, an eyebrow raised the entire time. Was this for real? Obviously it was in the immediate plans of the Organization to draw in people, 'subjects' from all the different worlds... but teapots? What the hell was Xemnas thinking with that one? He looked her over as well, "And you seem to be fine. Still got all of your -- uh... still got your lid in tact there." And a pause. "What was that you said? You're going shopping?"

This was getting weirder and weirder...
