Tidus was nearly asleep himself when he heard the door open. The sound was just loud enough to catch his attention, making him roll over and stare at his bedroom door for a second. Yuna was probably home, he realized.

With that thought as a springboard, it didn't take long for him to sit up and head toward the door, abandoning his own nap to check the living room.

"Yuna?" he said as he entered, not realizing that she was trying to sleep. "Is that you?"

The sound of Tidus' voice was enough of a distraction from everything. Seeing him was much preferable to a nap... usually, anyway. She sighed softly and rolled back over, sitting up to look at him, but not rising to her feet yet. Instead, she was staring at the floor.

"Yeah. I'm back."

Her voice was soft, not at all like normal, and she knew he'd pick up on that. What was she supposed to do, though? She didn't know. Maybe she could contact Auron about it. He might know how to deal with this.

He was walking into the room quickly enough to see her long before she spoke, and he smiled. But he did pick up on the strangeness of her tone, and couldn't miss how intently she was staring at the floor. Something wasn't right, and the spring in his step vanished as he walked the last few steps to the couch. He sat down next to her, and wasted no time getting to the obvious question.

"What's wrong? Did something happen?"

Yuna should have known he'd pick up on everything. Part of her wanted to just lean against him and block it all out, but the rest of her knew... he'd find out eventually. The number of people who remembered that incident was dwindling, but if Hades really was back, then he'd probably use her as bait to get to Tidus or Auron again.

So, she turned to him with caution and tried to figure out how to say what she needed to say.

"Tidus... have you ever heard of someone called Hades?"

"Hades?" Tidus tried to think, remembering the names and faces of the people he had run into and heard of since his arrival. But, as far as he could remember, the name "Hades" hadn't come up until now. He shook his head, finally, when he was sure.

"Nope. Never heard of him." he said. But, obviously, this Hades guy - whoever he was - had done something to upset Yuna. That alone was enough to make Tidus want to know exactly who he was.
