Riku lifted himself off the floor, rubbing the bridge of his nose. He felt as if all the blood in his body had decided to just take a vacation for a few seconds before racing back in. The teen wobbled a little, his heart pounding strangely for about a minute.
This was wrong. This was very wrong. The area looked like an electrified version of Traverse Town had crash landed onto the shore of his home. But that never-sleeping town seemed to be. "What's the Organization pulled now?" Riku summoned his Keyblade, on edge. Whatever they were going to do, he'd be ready.
"Mao! Yorda! Link! Kairi, are you there?!" His call was greeted only by the light whisper of wind. Riku looked to the nearby boat suspiciously. "...Light's on, anyone home?" He walked the platform onto the deck, approaching the door. After a pause, he knocked. Hard.
"Hey! Anyone in there?!" With no reply, Riku sighed, finally simply trying to open the door. To his surprise it was unlocked. Eyes narrowed, Riku walked in, Keyblade in hand.
"Hello," a voice suddenly said from behind Riku. A young boy, wearing a purple shirt with a hood that covered most of his face, black pants, and multiple ornate decorations in red, blue, and gold stood behind Riku in the doorway.
"You don't need that weapon," he said calmly. "Nothing here will hurt you."
Riku whirled around in a heartbeat, but didn't quite raise his weapon to the newcomer. He looked down at the boy, eyes still narrowed as he tilted his head slightly. After a moment, he relaxed, but he didn't dismiss his Keyblade either. Still, he held it to his side now rather than take a pose that might threaten the kid.
"Sure I won't." Riku inhaled slowly though his nose. I don't smell Zexion... Could I anymore? He took a glance around the room. "So where is 'here,' then, if you know there's nothing here to hurt me?"
He gave him an odd look, then looked to his Keyblade. "Seems like everyone who has these has weird dreams. Guess I didn't get my share yet." After a beat, he took about one step back, sitting on some sort of partition that encircled part of the room. He leaned over the Keyblade in his lap.
"Guess those bodies are the real deal. And I got knocked flat for it. ...Am I... Did I touch you?"
