Finally, FINALLY, Laharl knew where Flonne is. Despite being utterly exhausted, Laharl rushed to the hospital. For some stupid reason he'd brushed off the idea of her being at somewhere like this. Hospitals were filled with people, after all. It didn't seem like much of a hiding place, but as he realized when he stepped into the front door, there was definitely a good reason why she'd ended up here.

It looked practically abandoned. ...That explained a lot.

Now, the next question was, where in this place was she? It was a pretty large building... ugh, this could be tough. Not to mention making sure she didn't go running out a back door or something on him. He hadn't come this far to lose her again.

He had to find her and he had to snap her out of it. He honestly wasn't sure how he was going to do it yet, but he had manage to snap his mom out of it, and then his mother had an even easier time pulling his father out of it. There had to be some way to reach her...

Well, first he had to find her. At least he was close now.

Although he'd told Laharl where Flonne was, he still felt uneasy. Flonne had been violent to a stranger; how would she react to someone she knew? Besides, what if someone was needed to protect her from herself? The Doctor's mind had been made up - quickly, at that; he couldn't very well leave that poor girl in such a state - and he'd been off, racing towards the hospital as fast as his legs could carry him. Hopefully, she was still there.

He spotted someone entering the building, and quickened his pace. That was the person he'd spoken to over the journals. What was his name? That's right, he hadn't caught it. The Doctor ran rather clumsily into the building and stopped to catch his breath, having been running for quite awhile. "Oi," he panted, "you there. I'm glad I caught you." He didn't want him going in alone.

The Overlord was glancing up and down the hallway trying to decide what way to start looking when the voice made Laharl stop and turn. Oh. It was him. This was the guy who'd told him where Flonne was.

Turning to face the man, Laharl lifted a brow, wondering exactly why he was so glad.

"Oh?" he simply replied.

"Yep," came the reply as the Doctor straightened up, adjusting his jacket. "You shouldn't go in there alone, not with Flonne acting the way she is. She needs someone there she knows she can trust - and right now, that's not you." He said this as gently as he could, but he wasn't going to mince words; who knew what would happen if Flonne got worked up again? That was more risk than he was willing to take, especially considering the strange fog, the mysterious Organization and who knew whatever else was lurking around here.

Laharl frowned, not particularly liking the idea of the guy tagging along, but... As much as he hated to admit it, he could have a point. And, if nothing else, it was someone else to make sure she didn't run away. At least, Laharl hoped the guy would be that useful.

"Fine," the boy finally replied after a moment, making it sound like he was only just barely approving of this plan. "You can come, but I'm doing this my way."
