With no need to ask for someone's services, Kida dressed in attire better-suited for exploration, and much more comfortable at that.. She'd bought from Folio's something they were calling a "heavy lance." Unlike a normal lance, it sported no hand guard, but instead an ornate and unusual head that looked like it could also be used as a hook. Though very differently shaped than what she was accustomed to and a little shorter, Kida adapted easily to the new weapon

Remus fidgeted a little, and opened his eyes. He hated going in and out of consciousness like he was, but he really didn't have power to do otherwise. All he saw was the room he had passed out in, and some figure in the corner by the door. His vision was blurry, so he couldn't make it out, but whoever it was, she (it looked like a she anyway) held some sort of staff or spear or something.

He tried to push himself up, but a wave of nausea overtook him and he stopped trying, instead trying to focus on what he was now sure was a woman in front of him. He tried to speak, but his mouth and throat were so dry that a croaking sound just came out. He didn't care that she was dressed rather oddly, or that despite her young features, her hair was white. He didn't even care that she was holding a weapon and could skewer him. He just wanted a bit of help and some knowledge as to what he had done the previous night, even if it was as bad as he was beginning to think it was.

At a slight sound behind her, Kida looked back to the source of the cracking voice. She saw the young man moving and went quickly to his side. "Do not overexert yourself. It appears you lost much blood, if it is your own I see. You need water and rest."

Kida looked up from him and glanced around. All seemed safe, still. "Tell me. What did this to you?"

If Remus hadn't been in such a pathetic state, the woman's dress would have definitely caught his attention. However, having had just been so close to death and being nude himself, he honestly didn't give a damn about her appearance. He was just thankful that she seemed like she wanted to help him and not skewer him.

Remus tried to pick himself back up a bit, but the room spun and he gave up for the second time. After a few more croaks, he managed to force out some words with what remained of his voice. "I don't know." For now, those three words were enough.

His statement was perfectly true. He had never remembered much, if anything, after the full moon. He had no idea what he had done the previous night, but the foul taste in his mouth and the way he was almost killed indicated that it had been the worst full moon he had ever gone through. He really didn't want to know what had happened last night, but he was sure he would hear about it sooner or later.

Kida frowned. She had seen no fresh water close by, nor did she have a waterskin; it was short-sighted she realized, for her own explorations. Though she and her fellow hunters had been hurt before, severe blood-loss was rare, as they were able to heal their own wounds fast enough. And even then, running water was rarely hard to find in the caverns.

"I have few options to help you. I could leave and return in a few hours with water, but what attacked you might return. The other is I could help you return to the city, but I fear it may do you more harm than good at this time." She gave a sigh. "What do you want me to do?"
