Xion had found that sneaking out of the castle was not as hard as it might have been. Maybe it was because they'd stopped deeming her important... which was a double edged sword, but it worked for now. She still wanted to keep Roxas away from them until they knew what was going on, and she'd promised Namine she'd do her best to not let them find her, either. Even if Xion didn't know why they were after Namine too, she did her best to keep that promise.

It was on her way back to the castle that she saw a duck. He... looked familiar. Was he a friend of Sora's? Probably. It seemed Sora was friends with everyone, at times. She didn't go over to talk to him, not yet- she made sure the hood was fully over her face (thankfully not an Organization hood), watching.

As Xion watched, Donald spoke fairly loudly into an electronic journal, and continued to do so for a little while, completely unaware that he was being watched. He was kicking his orange, webbed feet as he worked with the journal, and only after a few moments did he stop speaking and shut it down with a satisfied quack.

It was then that he spotted the hooded figure standing some ways off. “Wak?” He titled his head at the figure, wondering if maybe he was standing out and disrupting the world order. Maybe it’d be better if he found someplace to stay until he could find his friends. With a little shake of his tail feathers, he hopped off of the bench he’d been seated on.

“Hey! Maybe you can help me!” Donald waved a white hand at the figure, and began walking over.

Donald was loud enough that Xion could hear most of the entry- which was good, as it confirmed why he looked familiar. Dreams could be hard to place, but now she knew and could lea--

Or not.

Xion moved a little to look like she wasn't hiding (as there was no point now), waiting until Donald approached her. She didn't know what she could help with that he wouldn't find from other people, but...

Donald kept walking towards the stranger, just as friendly as a giant talking duck could be. "I was wonde--"

Donald's sentence was cut short as someone knocked into him, eliciting a quack of surprise. More new arrivals were filtering in from the gate, and Donald, while an unusual sight to some, was short, and not as impressive as the beautiful details of the city. It was all too easy for the other newcomers to miss him.

The duck was knocked to the side some, and into the path of another pedestrian. This time, Donald had time to react. "Watch where you're going, you big palooka!" It was a few moments before the irate fowl was able to clear the small wave of people, and look back to where he was going...

Xion took this opportunity to try and hide. Unfortunately, there was nothing to hide behind, so this failed pretty quickly. At least she realized the failure and didn't try to pretend she wasn't there.

She paused, before cautiously asking, "Are you alright?" Since she sounded rather like Kairi, that could possibly be a talking point... except she wasn't aware that she sounded like Kairi.
