Character(s): Angeal Hewley, open Content: A fallen SOLDIER enters through Muspelheim gate. Setting: Muspelheim gate, and wherever that may lead. Time: Week 2, evening Warnings: Possible swearing.
In fact, a fair number of the people in the city were capable of telling Angeal what was going on the city. Whether or not any would, well, that was another matter entirely. Especially when one of those people was Saïx. Nonetheless, he had supposed that it was once again high time to turn his gaze to the people of city. After all, his little foray beyond the wall of thorns had proved uneventful.
Of course, he wasn't going to be wearing that all too familiar cloak. Not here. Instead, he had switched it out in favor of a simple set of pants and shirt in varying shades of blue and silver. His hair and eyes, however, were left quite unaltered. What he wore would be enough to keep those who knew the coat of the Organization from suspecting him as one of their number.
And that left only one question. Who would come and speak to him first?
The fact that nearly everyone looked almost exactly the same - blonde hair, blue eyes; clones of someone, perhaps? - was not at all a reassuring factor to the winged SOLDIER, and he sighed, leaning against the nearby wall to gaze upon this strange city. It seemed as though he were trapped in a giant... dome of sorts.
Well. He didn't have much of a choice.
About to open the laptop and possibly get a message out, he paused. Huh... someone different-looking. Good.
Ah, so it was the half-winged man who would claim his attentions now. Not much of a surprise (and not simply because he couldn't be surprised). After all, the man bore all the hallmarks of being a newcomer to the city.
"It's called 'Paixao'," he answered simply, turning in Angeal's direction slightly. The rest he would save until the other asked. There was little need to give him more than he needed for the time being, after all.
Shiva, this wasn't helping. Was he going to have to resort to charades or something?
The bigger man rolled his eyes, pushing himself up off the wall to better look at the stranger. ...and stranger still. Genesis having bright red hair was bad enough, but blue?
Then again, he was a six-foot giant with glowing eyes and white wings. Hair shouldn't be an issue.
Off topic.
"I know that." He sighed irritably. "Is this Gaia or the Lifestream, I mean? Am I alive?"
Blue hair and strangely yellow eyes, should Angeal happen to be close enough to notice that. And then there was that odd cross-shaped scar sitting across the bridge of his nose.
"It's neither," he answered. To be honest he had little idea what the 'Lifestream' was. Gaia, though, that he understand. Some world out amongst all the others. "And you are quite alive."
It was hardly the first time someone who should have been dead had arrived in the city.
Neither? ...not good. He had died, he felt the deteioration, the weakness... his defeat in Modeoheim by Zack. If he wasn't dead... what was he? Not alive, he couldn't be...
That only led to one conclusion.
"Some other realm, then?" He asked, mako-blue eyes narrowing. Out of instinct, he reached for his sword, only to find it wasn't there.
...right. Zack had it.
"Who else is here? Any other SOLDIERs?" Maybe Genesis, too...
"It's not your world." Not any of their worlds, to be perfectly honest. And with that in mind, hopefully he'd be forgiven for not answering the question about who else was here. He had no idea of who Angeal knew. He didn't care, either.
Angeal was mere seconds from finding the nearest brick wall and just repeatedly beating his head straight into it. This guy was just a fountain of helpful information, wasn't he? Despite his thoughts, however, the SOLDIER remained calm and focused, nodding his head once at the other man's 'explaination'.
Not Gaia, though. Huh...
This wasn't working. Computer networks it was, then.
"Where is everyone else staying?" He asked finally. Hopefully, he could tell him that much.
Clearly the man wasn't going to be leaving until he'd gotten an appreciable amount of information. Inconvenient, if you asked him, but then again he had been the one to stand more or less in the path of any an all newcomers. What prices he paid for his folly and for keeping his true nature a secret.
"There's a variety of places to stay in the city," he answered, repressing the urge to sigh. "The most common would be the Actua Are hotels; you can find the locations on the journal's map."
Actua Are. The winged SOLDIER nodded in confirmation and committed the name to memory. If he was going to be trapped here, in this... this... not-Gaia world filled with clones, he would prefer not having to sleep in the street or anywhere else exposed. He still didn't know if the clones were dangerous and he didn't have his sword.
Beginning to walk off, to sit down and research one of these hotels, he paused. A place this fancy, this populated, wouldn't be free.

"I'm guessing Gil won't get me in?"
