Character(s): Angeal Hewley, open Content: A fallen SOLDIER enters through Muspelheim gate. Setting: Muspelheim gate, and wherever that may lead. Time: Week 2, evening Warnings: Possible swearing.
"The stores here will take anything as payment, provided it's suitably 'shiny'. If you wished, you could pay with one of the flowers."
After all, for all that there was some proper vegetation in the city now, thanks to the majority of it was just as it had been when he'd first arrived in the city. Clever imitations of flowers and grass; made with precious stones and metals.
Not entirely sure about the scenery still, and can rewrite if this is wrong.eaturdumbappleFebruary 16 2009, 01:29:04 UTC
Angeal turned to gaze upon the surrounding scenery, and found the blue-haired man's comment to be quite true. The flowers, the grass, all had a type of gleam to them, and the fact of the matter only served to drive his curiousity further and further. Flowers made of... stone and metal?
And simple-minded clones. Shame he lost all his Materia in that fight. Would've made him rich for once.
With a thoughtful noise, the winged man reached down to pluck a few flowers out of the grass, pocketing them swiftly.
Nope, you got it :DdonabluemoonFebruary 16 2009, 01:49:41 UTC
If you'd asked Saïx, he would have made some comment about it being simpler that way. Very nearly every world had its own form of payment; it was only to be expected that the citizenry would adapt accordingly.
"I presume that will be all for now?" Despite the wording of the sentence, it wasn't entirely as brusque at it might seem, a slight note of something nearing curiosity creeping into Saïx' voice.
Oh good~ Thank ya. ^^;eaturdumbappleFebruary 16 2009, 02:02:06 UTC
Angeal eyed the last flower one final time before pocketing it, standing up and straightening himself. "Yeah. Thanks." He replied, as toneless as ever. Well, he had somewhere to stay now, anyway. One step at a time, right?
And hopefully, he wouldn't be the only outer-worlder here. Adjusting to new situations was difficult, but he could manage.
Turning back to the blue-haired man, he asked. "You got a name? Just in case something else goes wrong."
"Sirius," he answered, the lie flowing from his lips as easily as his real name would have, for all that he hadn't had much need to use it lately. He'd have to look into fixing that, he expected.
Not that he would enjoy the resulting conversations much, but there was little else that needed his attention at the moment.
Sirius? Somehow, it suited the man. He wasn't entirely sure of how or why, but it just did. It didn't matter.
A faint smile spreading across his lips - mostly out of decency and the urge to be polite ~ the winged SOLDIER raised a hand in a half-wave before beginning to take off once more. "...right. I'll be seeing you."
He didn't need his own name. The man probably didn't even care.

So he left.
