"Oh yes!" he replied, beaming. "Rather brilliant that was, wasn't it? Them coming in, taking over like that. Couldn't really expect any less from them, I suppose. Interesting they're all working together like that though, but rather fantastic at the same time," the Doctor babbled in his usual way.

The Disney villains showing up like that had greatly excited him as much as it worried him. Especially the fact they were working together. They were all from different, well, stories, right? How did they all seem to know each other?

Maleficent was clearly the leader, but Hades and Jafar weren't the sort to work beneath others. What kind of partnership was this?

At least he had a good idea what they were up against, if nothing else, unlike the Organization, who's abilities were still rather a lot of question marks.

"I imagine we'll find out soon enough. At least, if nothing else, they're distracting the Organization. I can't imagine they're too happy about this either."

Lara tilted her head to one side, considering. "I must admit that it was," said the Englishwoman after a few moments, "and considering everything that's going on, they certainly took us all by surprise." Brilliant, really, stepping in just as things were at their most chaotic and everyone was on their guard. "I wonder just what they're planning," Lara continued, gesturing idly in the direction of City Hall. "I've heard that no one can get past the wall of thorns that have risen around City Hall."

If nothing else, it was a challenge, and Lara greatly enjoyed those. Perhaps once they had unlocked the mystery of the strange church outside of the domed city, she would look into it. At the mention of the Organization, Lara gave the Doctor an interested look. "Oh, that group. I don't suppose you'd be interested in telling me more about them, perhaps? I'm afraid I only know a little about Larxene; she sent strange creatures after me when I first arrived." That, of course, was something the archaeologist was unlikely to forget.

"A wall of thorns?" the Doctor echoed a grin forming over his face in recognition of what it was Lara was describing. The handy work of Maleficent no doubt. "Oh now that must be a sight!"

Ah, now, the Organization. That was something even the Doctor didn't know a great deal about. "I'm afraid I don't know a great deal other than what I've read on the journal system. According to them there's 13 of them. Larxene certainly seems to get around. I've only bumped into one. Don't know his name but his abilities..."

A frown appeared on the Doctor's face, for a moment looking far more serious and dark than a moment before, "He was able to stop time."

That worried the Doctor more than anything. To have an ability like that...

"He also had an ability to create a kind of temporary spatial distortion," he continued on.

Lara smiled. "I must admit that it's quite impressive," she replied. "I've never seen anything like it." But every door had a key, and Lara intended to find it. To her, this was all just another adventure, another step in finding her mother and Avalon. At the mention of Larxene, her eyes narrowed dangerously. "She does sound as though she keeps herself active," she told her companion, leaning back in the chair casually.

Someone who could stop time? There was a new one - well, sort of. There were stories about time-travel and the like all over the world, and Lara could recall at least a few instances in which she'd heard of them personally. "That's odd... I wonder if he has some sort of device or magical artifact." She noted the look on the Doctor's face and nodded, her own look serious. "It does seem to be quite the bothersome group," she mused, "but if I may ask, what do you mean by 'spatial distortion'?"

He often forgot people didn't always understand all his technobabble. "Well, a kind of portal, I suppose you could say. Or possibly some kind of teleportation," the Doctor attempted to explain. He wasn't exactly sure of the nature of the distortion he'd seen. He'd only seen it that once when Rosette was kidnapped.

"It means they can likely get anywhere in the city in almost an instant, which is quite the advantage," he continued. If they created this distortions at a whim, they could pop out of anywhere, literially. It was like having a teleportation device at their means.
