She knew it was futile, of course. Naminé wasn't sure why she had accepted the black hat girl's offer to help her look for Repliku. She already knew they weren't going to find him.
Yet here she was, sitting on a streetside bench, her legs dangling off the edge, journal held neatly in her lap. She'd arrived early enough to check the shop already, and as she'd suspected, he wasn't actually there. Which left her with no clues, no ideas... except that something about all this just didn't seem right.
I'll still keep the promise and protect you.
Would he really abandon her, like Larxene had said?
If he had, of course, it wasn't as if she didn't deserve it. She'd caused so much trouble, made so many people miserable... it was true, she wasn't worth returning to.
But Repliku knew about all that. He knew what she was capable of, what she'd done. And he had promised anyway.
