kairi had, at first, not even realized namine had been yoinked from her. she had been talking, talking and talking, about random things, her favourite colours, where she had grown up .. as well as what exactly they were going to do to get money. which was .. currently what she was talking about. of course, it was as this time that namine was taken ( ... )

Naminé ran out of the back room and again into the crowed dance hall/lobby/bar area. How multipurpose. She looked around, clutching her hands tightly to her chest. Not there, no, not there either. And so Naminé was alone again. Just the way things had always been.

She thought she heard a shout of her name, but the music and the voices muddled it so she couldn't hear. It probably wasn't Kairi anyway. So, she did the only thing she could think of.

She ran out of the hotel in search of her friend.

when kairi didn't get an answer, she groaned, and turned away from the counter, back to the smiling, happy, confused faces of the strange people around her. someone actually tried to reach out for her, but she quickly jumped to the side, out of the persons reach, and bolted out of the nearest door she could find.

" namine! " she called out once again, looking around and around for the golden haired girl .. but to no avail. turning around quickly, she swore she saw a flash of golden hair, and she called out once again " NAMINE! ", and ran after the aforementioned figure .. whether it be the person she was looking for or not.

Nothing. Nothing and no one. Not a trace to be found of Kairi, or anyone for that matter. Naminé was getting anxious. Just then, she most clearly heard her name being called, finally away from all the noise. "Kairi?" she called, and turned to run back into the building. But just as she did so, she smacked right into a person coming from the opposite direction. Ow, ow, ow.

kairi continued to run after the golden haired figure. she didn't know what else to do. her mind was telling her to keep running .. but .. she just couldn't. soon, she stopped and put her hands on her knees, leaning over as she tried to catch her breath. thinking about it now, she realized that if the golden haired girl she had seen was indeed namine, she would have stopped when she heard her voice being called .. right?

.. right.

sighing, kairi finally regained her breath and looked around. she had to get back to the hotel .. what if namine had actually never left it to begin with? looking around, she felt confused for a moment. where was she?

" .. great. "

She had bumped into something very, very tall. She seemed to bounce off, and it took her a moment to get her bearings. When she did, she turned her head up to look at the person she had bumped into. It was a red-head, but not the one she was looking for. He had looked irritated for a second, but seemed to soften a bit when she looked at him.

Ahh, that question again. She had been answering it a lot lately. "Y-yes, I'm fine," she managed to stammer out, "I'm terribly sorry." She didn't want to be rude, but she couldn't help looking from side to side for her lost friend. Oh, where was she...?
