Some characters might notice others absents more than others, so they'll note it while others might not. Depends on what the player wants to do, really. Uh... Does that answer your question? XD]

There's no reason to take anyone, but they do it anyway. If they're low enough to kidnapped an innocent little girl, what's stopping them from taking anyone else?
